Senior Project Manager – Heerhugowaard, Netherlands

Lead international water projects from our Heerhugowaard office. You connect engineering in the Netherlands with local project teams and take responsibility for safe, timely delivery within budget and agreed performance requirements.

What you will do
• Develop and monitor integrated project plans, budgets, scope, milestones and risks.
Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, installation and commissioning across locations.
• Manage client, contractor and supplier agreements, including changes, additional work and deviations.
• Maintain forecasts and cash flow projections with finance, considering the impact of decisions on construction and long-term operations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate local permits, site readiness, inspections and testing.
• Organise acceptance and handover, including as-built documentation, operator training, maintenance information and outstanding items.

What we are looking for
• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical or process engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• At least eight years of experience leading complex technical projects, preferably in water treatment, infrastructure or the process industry.
• Proven experience with budgets, contracts, risks and multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of water treatment or process installations and experience through commissioning and handover.
• Excellent Dutch and English; Spanish is an advantage.
• International project delivery experience; experience in Latin America is an advantage.
• Availability to work from Heerhugowaard and travel internationally for site visits, project meetings, commissioning and handover.
