Separation for the Clean Fuel Project
For Thai Oil’s Clean Fuel Project, Pielkenrood designed and supplied a vertical sludge–oil–water separator. The equipment was engineered for wastewater containing both oil and solids.
A vertical, pressurised design
The separator has a design flow of 280 m³/h and a design pressure of 16 barg. Its vertical configuration provides a project-specific solution for separating sludge, oil and water under pressurised conditions.
From engineering to equipment supply
Pielkenrood’s scope covered the design, engineering and supply of the separator. The equipment was delivered through PSS Netherlands, the joint venture of Petrofac, Saipem and Samsung.
