Separation within a sludge treatment system

Pielkenrood designed four Cross Flow Interceptors for integration into Envorem’s sludge treatment system. The project brought specialist oil–water separation technology into a wider treatment process.

Four application-specific separators

The scope included the design and engineering of the four separators and the supply of their vessel internals. Crossflow technology enables the simultaneous separation of free oil and settleable solids from a carrier liquid.

Designed for process integration

The separator design was developed for its role within Envorem’s system. Pielkenrood’s contribution focused on the separation equipment and internals needed to integrate this treatment stage into the overall process.
